Athona is delighted to announce we’ve raised a mammoth £11,195.28 for our charities of the year; Brentwood Mind and The Blue Cross.
Over the year, we have taken to the skies and jumped 10,000 feet, completed the notorious obstacle course Tough Mudder, put ourselves through our paces with an inflatable 5k and participated in charity quiz nights to fundraise for each of these very deserving charities.
Tina London, Director of Athona, said: “Corporate social responsibility is a huge part of Athona and I am very proud of our staff for giving up their time to raise money for these two very good causes.”
Brentwood Mind helps hundreds of people each year deal with depression, stress and a range of mental illnesses, whilst campaigning for better mental health, and receive no funds from central Mind.
Blue Cross relies on donations to treat and rehome thousands of cats, dogs, small pets and horses each year and to provide treatment in their animal hospitals and clinics.
Athona looks forward to raising more money throughout 2018 for our next chosen charity of the year, which will be announced soon.
