Are you an experienced Senior Clinical Advisor looking to play a pivotal role in delivering safe, efficient, and digitally enabled urgent care across London? We are working as part of an exclusive partnership with the London Ambulance Service NHS Trust, acting as a trusted staffing provider and giving our candidates priority access to new and ongoing locum roles within the Integrated Urgent Care service.
This locum position is based in a multi-disciplinary Integrated Urgent Care Hub, delivering telephone-based assessments of health and clinical needs This post is due to start ASAP and is offering ongoing bookings, allowing you to have flexibility around working hours. As the service offer 24-hour coverage these will include evenings, weekends, and bank holidays as required.
Scope and Impact:
As part of the Integrated Urgent Care service, you will provide assessment, medication advice and health information supported by decision supported software. This requires generalist and specialist skills to assess and deliver care to patients across all age groups in an e-health environment. In addition, you will support colleagues across urgent and emergency services including paramedics, community nurses, and home care teams. You’ll also contribute to clinical governance, digital triage processes, and the professional development of others helping to shape urgent care delivery across the wider healthcare system.
Requirements:
To be considered, you must have:
- Registration with a relevant professional body (NMC/HCPC)
- A minimum of one years’ clinical experience in a primary, urgent, emergency or ambulance setting
- Ability to asses clinical and health needs utilising professional clinical judgement
- Provide assessment, medication advice, and health information supporting individuals to access the appropriate level of care including advice to manage their symptoms at home.
- Familiarity with NHS Pathways systems
- Enhanced DBS
- The right to work in the UK
