Over the last 10 years, we have partnered with so many incredible charities that save thousands of lives every day such as: Little Haven’s Children’s Hospice, The Guide Dogs, Saint Francis Hospice, Médecins Sans Frontières, Brentwood Mind, The Blue Cross, Alzheimer’s Society, The South Essex Wildlife Hospital, Cancer Research, Age UK (Redbridge, Barking and Havering) and DEC Turkey-Syria Earthquake Appeal charity.
This year however, we’re proud to be supporting Brain Tumour Research, a charity who works tirelessly to find a cure for brain tumours and increase UK investment in brain tumour research. Tragically, brain tumours kill more children and adults under the age of 40 than any other cancer, yet just 1% of the national spend on cancer research has been allocated to this horrific disease. To show our support towards this fantastic charity, on Thursday 29th February 2024, we held our annual quiz night along with a raffle where all proceeds from the evening go to brain Tumour Research. We’re thrilled to have had such a successful evening and proud to have raised an astounding £1,383.50!
A huge thank you to everyone who came, donated and participated, and special congratulations to our winning team, Parkway, and to our joint last place ‘champions’, The Smartini’s and At Least We’re Not Last!
We also wanted to say a huge thank you to all the extremely generous and kind business’ that donated prizes towards our raffle.
