A number of our brave employees completed a 10,000 feet skydive on Saturday 27th May in the name of charity. The team raised an impressive £2,662.06 for one of Athona’s charities of the year; The Blue Cross.
Marcus Blyth, Senior Client Liaison Officer, said “The skydive was one of the most amazing experiences and for such a fantastic and deserving cause. I couldn’t be happier with the amount we have raised and really cannot praise the Blue Cross team enough for the work they do, and the support they gave us.”
The charity skydive is just one of many challenges Athona’s employees have been getting involved with to raise much needed funds for their chosen charities of the year; The Blue Cross and Brentwood MIND.
Blue Cross relies on donations to treat and rehome thousands of cats, dogs, small pets and horses each year and to provide treatment in their animal hospitals and clinics.
Brentwood Mind helps hundreds of people each year deal with depression, stress and a range of mental illnesses whilst campaigning for better mental health, and receive no funds from central Mind.
