Job Title: Community Nurse (Band 5 RGN)
Location: Banbury – OX16
Contract Length: 3 months (TBC)
Hours: 37.5 hours per week
Shifts: Monday – Sunday, 08:00 – 18:30
Pay Rates:
Day: £22.00
Night/Saturday: £28.00
Sunday: £32.00
Driving Required: Full, valid driving licence & access to a car for work

We are seeking for a dedicated and skilled Band 5 Community Nurses to join our District Nursing Team – North on a fixed-term contract at The Fiennes Centre. This is a fantastic opportunity for nurses who thrive in community settings and are passionate about delivering high-quality patient care in people’s homes.
Your Responsibilities:
Providing specialist community nursing care to patients in their own homes
Managing catheters (male & female) and drains (chest, wound, etc.)
Delivering end-of-life and palliative care with compassion
Wound care & leg dressings, including compression bandaging
Administering injectable medication (e.g., insulin) and managing syringe drivers
Supporting patients with medication administration
What We’re Looking For:
Registered General Nurse (RGN) – NMC Registered
Minimum of 6 months NHS experience within the last 2 years
Previous experience in community or district nursing (preferred)
Strong clinical skills with the ability to work independently
Compassionate, patient-focused, and adaptable to a contract-based role
