Job Description

Currently, we have an excellent opportunity for a Deputy Manager to join our luxury care service in Lancaster. You will play a key role in supporting the team and delivering high standards of care for older adults and individuals with dementia.

Salary: £32,500

Position: Deputy Manager

Hours: Full Time

Setting: Care Home – Dementia/Elderly care

Location: Lancaster

Key Responsibilities:

  • Ensure compliance with CQC, regulatory, statutory, and quality monitoring requirements.
  • Monitor the wellbeing of residents, ensuring care plans are updated to reflect changes in needs.
  • Develop strong relationships with local partners and raise the home’s profile in the community.
  • Act as a role model for the team, promoting Evermore Care’s values and vision.
  • Lead by example, managing the day-to-day operations of the home in the Home Manager’s absence.
  • Coordinate and manage care provision to meet individual needs, ensuring quality is maintained.
  • Support the development of staff through training, guidance, and performance reviews.
  • Oversee the delivery of person-centered care, with a focus on dementia and elderly care.
  • Ensure the home adheres to safeguarding policies and the Deprivation of Liberty Safeguards (DoLS).
  • Participate in the management on-call rota to provide leadership and support when needed.

For this role, we’re looking for someone who has:

  • Previous management experience in a care setting, ideally with dementia and elderly care.
  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to inspire and develop a team.
  • In-depth knowledge of CQC requirements and regulatory standards.
  • A commitment to delivering high-quality, person-centered care.
  • A thorough understanding of safeguarding and DoLS legislation.
