We have an excellent permanent job opportunity for a Forensic associate specialist to work for a private inpatient service based in Lancashire. This is a full-time role covering Up to 28 male beds alongside consultant, either low secure or rehab depending on preference.

Location: Lancashire

For this role, we’re looking for someone who is:

  • Full GMC registration
  • Fulfilling the role of Approved Clinician to patients detained under the Mental Health Act (1983).
  • 12 months’ adult psychiatry experience
  • Relevant experience within a similar setting (preferred)
  • Approval under Section 12 of the Mental Health Act (preferred)
  • Excellent knowledge of the Mental Health Act 1983 (2007) and Code of Practice along with Mental Capacity Act 2005 and Code of Capacity
